Steve Flint has been an active modeller for nearly 40 years and currently works as editor and photographer of Railway Modeller magazine. He has contributed much of the model railway photography and finished graphic artwork in this book. |

Ken Gibbons is a prolific designer and builder of layouts in 4mm scale and is best known for his small-space British Rail 'Blue Era' schemes. He has also contributed a lot of the historical information in the book, together with a selection of designs. Several of his earlier popular layouts are also featured amongst the pages |
