As well as illustrations of the model, the section includes scale drawings and many detail photographs of the original West Highland Railway buildings for any modellers who might wish to build their own model or adapt them for a might-have-been project located elsewhere in the Highlands.

As with his previous volume, his project plans cover various localities with some adaptations of actual stations as well as some just supposing schemes.

Building Micro Layouts by Paul A. Lunn
Paul is a popular author and layout designer who writes frequently for Railway Modeller (Peco Publications) and has a special interest in small space layouts.

Interest in micro-sized layouts has been around since the days of A. R. Walkley's Inglenook Sidings in the 1920s, it has become increasingly popular in recent times. In this new book he turns traditional layout design on its head and through his stunning 3-D graphic artwork presents a whole range of layout ideas to fit the tightest location.

With modern housing becoming increasingly compact, more often without garages and useable loft spaces, Paul reveals numerous tips and techniques to enable the construction of realistic and plausible model railway tableaux to fit any size home and give its creator hours of pleasure and satisfaction. Numerous examples of micro-layouts from well known builders will complement Paul's text.

Prices and availablity
Each title is printed in full colour with 64pp, glossy card cover, top quality model railway photography and state-of-the-art graphics.
